Post-jam update: v1.0.1 is out


Hey friends! Thanks for checking out this little project. I've just released the first post-jam update, which mostly contains minor tweaks bugfixes, as well as a small amount of new content.


Fixed

  • The game no longer crashes if you quit to menu through a non-standard method, then continue.
  • The game no longer displays the wrong ending if you run away after defeating the final boss.
  • The game should no longer spawn you inside the ground if you run the web version at a non-standard resolution.
  • The waterfall in the kitchen now shows up as expected.


Changed

  • The final platform in the "rope puzzle" room has been shortened, to make the solution more intuitive. The creature on that platform now also moves. Lazy!
  • The "food doodads" now display with 50% transparency, to make it clear they're not interactive objects.


Added

  • The people in the village now respond to your physical changes. This is optional, but you can totally circle back and talk to them.


Did you know...

  • ... that there's actually three different NPCs who can show up in the village, depending on your gender & partner preference?
